A preliminary estimate of the market in 2015 indicates that the organic sector in France has grown 10 percent since 2014, and is valued at €5.5 billion (approximately US$6.2 billion). About 35 percent of organic sales are through independent and organic specialist retailers. Land in conversion to organic management was up 17 percent as well.
