• Invest Korea Plaza (IKP)

    It is the first business incubation center in Korea for foreign investors. It has a Project Manager System which entitles tenants to information on Korean markets and industries, assistance in seeking business partners, investment start-up consultation, on-site administrative support, consultation on FDI incentives, Korean law, taxes and help with arranging meetings with government officials. IKP offers various types of support from the initial stage of investment to actual business set-up. It also has an Investor Support Center which provides business and living information as well as a 24-hour hotline to foreign investors and their families in need of emergency information (Phone: 1600-7119).

  • Korea Customs Service

    Presents the import clearance system with the different forms to fill out. In the 'Information Plaza' part of the site has information on laws and regulations, trade statistics as well as custom tariffs and certificates of origin.

    Private Korean organization dedicated to facilitating exports into the country. Includes a large section on Korean import policies and system with import policies and trends as well as import statistics and import institutions. It is also dedicated to import promotion with trade missions and exhibitions and has an e-market.

    Foreign facilities, including food facilities, packing houses, grain storage facilities, fishery plants, etc., that handle products inspected by Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) must register and agree to inspection by MFDS. Register by July 19, 2016 to ensure products will not be turned away on arrival in Korea, and to avoid potential problems from a crush of last-minute registrants.
