Organic Monitor reports that the 25-year-old organic and natural foods retailer Mundo Verde expects to open 50 more shops in 2013, and increase sales 18 percent. In addition, it will launch its own brand of foods, supplements and wellness products called MUNDO Verde Selecao. In 2012, Mundo Verde’s sales reached US$132 million, a 40 percent increase.
