Sales of organic products in China are estimated to reach US$3.9-9.4 billion by 2015. Meanwhile, China has 4 million hectares of land for certified organic farming and collection from the wild. Recent regulations that were implemented in July 2012 are designed to improve the reputation of the Chinese organic sector around the world.
