The Interprofessional Association of Olives for France, Afidol, recently produced a new video to encourage French olive growers to switch to organic farming. Despite having eight appellations in the Provence Alpes -Côtes d’Azur region, only 12 percent of olive farms in France are organic. Two challenges organic olive farms face are olive flies and getting rid of weeds.
