In 2014, sales of natural cosmetics in Germany reached 1 billion euros, and the first six months of 2015 show growth of around 8 percent, and comprise 8 percent of the cosmetics market in Germany. Meanwhile, natural cosmetics sales in France comprise approximately 5 percent of the market, or 410 million euros. Great Britain’s natural cosmetics market is valued at 313 million euros, followed by Italy at 306 million euros. Austria and Switzerland have natural personal care markets valued at 80million euros each. Sales of all cosmetics in Europe were 72 billion euros, with Germany, France, Great Britain and Italy among the top users of natural cosmetics. Those four countries comprise 60 percent of Europe’s cosmetics market.
