The distributor Ki Group, a subsidiary of Bioera Ltd, and Organic Alliance, a holding group comprised of 11 companies licensed to use the ‘Almaverde Bio’ brand, agreed to develop a network of health food stores nationwide. Ki Group, which will own 60 percent of the new venture, will have operational responsibility for the project. With a workforce of about 150 employees, and commercial partnerships with about 150 companies in Italy and internationally, Ki Group serves about 4,500 natural food stores, health food stores and pharmacies.
