According to a report from the International Exhibition of Organic and Natural Products (SANA), 37 percent of Italians say they use organic products at least once per week, and in 2014 the percentage of organic food consumers was up 59 percent. It is the thrid year the percent of organic consumers has increased. Just 41 percent of Italians say they have not purchased an organic product in the past 12 months, while 22 percent use organic products every day. Meanwhile, Italy's Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies reports that sales of organic products in the first five months of 2014 are up.
