India’s National Standards for Organic Production now include orgnaic textiles production. Administered by the Commerce and Industry Ministry as part of the Foreign Trade Policy, the Indian Standards for Organic Textiles was launched July 30, 2012 and cover production and processing of agriculture crops and certification standards.
