Lectures and discussions at September’s Natural Cosmetics Conference in Berlin revealed that even as international markets continue to grow, the natural cosmetics market in Germany is holding steady. German’s natural cosmetic market represents € 815 m and a market share of 6.5 percent. Meanwhile, market researchers Kline & Company, estimated that in 2011 global turnover of natural cosmetics was $26.3bn, which is 12 percent of the global cosmetics market, and that sale worldwide doubled between 2006 and 2011. Significant markets include: China, Japan, South Korea, Germany, France, Great Britain,Ireland. Brazil, and USA.
