Organic product sales at retail declined slightly (1.5%) in 2012, in part due to retailers limiting organic offerings, says the Soil Association. Their recent survey of shoppers found that 92 percent of people said they would buy more organic products if more were available. Meanwhile, people increasingly turned to home delivery of organic products, either through box schemes or online ordering. Sales in those channels were up 4.4 percent in 2012.
