The International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM) ran a project (OSEA II) to develop East African regional organic standards and certification cooperation through December 2013, and has released a short film highlighting some of participating farmers. The project was implemented by IFOAM in close cooperation with the National Organic Agriculture Movements in Burundi (BOAM), Kenya (KOAN), Rwanda (ROAM), Tanzania (TOAM) and Uganda (NOGAMU).
