The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) which includes: Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand, Brunei, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam, is moving forward on regional organic standards. A Special task force is working on a final draft which will undergo several levels of review through June 2014, with a target implementation at the end of 2015. Meanwhile, Indonesia, Philippines, and Malaysia have organic labeling regulations on the books already.
