Organic is among the trends highlighted during the SIAL China trade show in early May 2015. The nascent organic food sector is drawing interest from consumers, driven in part by food safety and in part by health and wellness concerns, said A.T. Kearney partner Torsten Stocker in just-food. Other trends include: a shift toward convenience foods and westernized snacks, such as chocolates and potato chips, and a growing demand for dairy products.
