Approximately 1.5 percent of Israel’s agricultural production is organic, and organic products represent approximately 13 percent of agricultural exports from Israel. In 2014, the number of organic growers and producers increased over 7 percent to 642. Most of he new businesses were organic product importers bringing products to Israel,a dn the import market continues to grow due to good supply and increased demand for new products.
