Although growth stagnated temporarily, organic agriculture is growing again in the Czech Republic, with at least 322 new farms and 23 businesses devoted to organic food production. In 2013, organic food sales were valued at 73.9 million euros, up 9.5 percent form 2012. Approximately 41 percent of people buy organic products and spend, on average 7.39 euros annually.
